Masterful examples of the Aesthetic Movement's influence on American ceramics are currently on view in the Brooklyn Museum's "Aesthetic Ambitions: Edward Lycett and Brooklyn's Faience Manufacturing Company" (through June 19).
Built in 1880, it is a prime example of the American AestheticMovement and one of only two surviving interiors by Louis Comfort Tiffany's Associated Artists cooperative.
