My colleague Kai Falkenberg recently suggested that single teen moms like Mallette and Mandy Teefey, mothers to Bieber and Selena Gomez, respectively, may be besting Tiger Moms like AmyChua.
AmyChua created quite a stir this weekend when people caught wind of her wildly controversial essay in the Wall Street Journal on how Chinese parents raise such stereotypically successful kids.
That term came about when AmyChua wrote a book called "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" and she wrote about how she pushed her kids to do things like taking violin lessons.
