Anyone travelling by rail is advised to check the Arriva Trains Wales website before travelling, as its services have resumed but disruption is expected for the rest of Saturday.
Southeastern said services in the Ramsgate and Canterbury areas could be delayed, diverted or cancelled at short notice and advised passengers to check its live running information or national rail information before travelling.
In addition to the 204 Welsh incidents in 2010, Network Rail said there were also 37 cases of people failing to contact signallers to check it was safe to use unpoliced crossings.
