His conciliatory words come after delegates passed a motion of no confidence in Education Secretary Michael Gove and theChief Inspector for Schools in England, Sir Michael Wilshaw.
Among thedelegates are Uefa chief executive David Taylor, and German football legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, ofthe European Club Association - representing 144 major football clubs from across Europe.
The UN also noted with concern that two delegates had been arrested in Herat, and that death threats had been made by thechiefofthe Karukh district against six people selected to represent the district.
