Citing valuation abuse, Forbes took two nonprofits off its largest charities list, Crista Ministries of suburban Seattle and Islamic Relief USA of Arlington, Va.
Last year, Forbes described dubious accounting activities concerning valuation of deworming medicine like mebendazole and albendazole at international aid charities like Crista Ministries, Islamic Relief, World Vision and Operating Blessing.
Citing questions over the accounting, Forbes last year took Islamic Relief and Seattle-area Crista Ministries off its largest-charities list, which is assembled on the basis of the amount of private donations received in the latest fiscal year.
