He said residents have been asked to dispose of their litter in dustbins which would then be taken away by a road-sweeper to the nearest rubbish dumpingsite.
Investigators believe the area -- which is only one mile from where she was last seen at the high school -- was merely a dumpingsite for the body and not the actual crime scene.
"I think it will come as a great relief to local residents, as we have seen this site really become just a dumping ground and as a magnet for anti-social behaviour, " he added.
