The trailer is brief, but the style and everything we can see of star Kevin Spacey as Congressman Francis Underwood has the feel of a high quality production.

Look back at the screen grab at the top and you'll see that Francis Underwood is on the phone -- he's talking to his wife, who's shown in the next shot using a white iPhone.

Much of the problem is Spacey himself, as Francis (Frank) Underwood, a wheeler-dealer who is denied the job of Secretary of State, and then conspires, with his steely wife, to go even higher.

And Ms. Wright's performance as a modern-day Lady Macbeth in Netflix's "House of Cards" has garnered glowing reviews, not least because she is luminous as the monochrome-clad, cropped-haired Claire Underwood, wife to Kevin Spacey's politician Francis.
