Given his performance deterioration over the last 2 seasons and a lack of hope that he will rebound mentally from what has been an embarrassing fall from grace after 2 consecutive AFC Championship Games in 2009 and 2010, the Jets would be wise to cut bait and start fresh if they believe they have other options that can improve the offensive mojo of the franchise.
