Last Saturday, I went to a local farmers market in the morning, had lunch at an excellent locavore vegan restaurant ( Pura Vida, check it out if you are in Vegas) where I used a Yelp coupon over a less attractive Foursquare coupon, and then checked out a gourmet food truck festival in the evening.

The Middle Eastern city is also hosting several events to check out in 2013, including the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon (March 2), Gourmet Abu Dhabi (a culinary festival taking place at various venues Feb. 5-20) and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival (last year it took place in October).
