All the Blu-ray movies I have seen look better than HBO HD.

To a certain degree picture and sound quality are important to everyone, but some can't tell the difference between HBO HD and DVDs and they sure won't be able to see the difference between HD DVD and Blu-ray.

So if you get HBO and have the HD package then you will also get HBO HD, this is worse than it used to be because you used to get some HD channels without the HD pak.
