One modern nuclear plant takes 7 square miles and produces 95%, while wind would take an area of 300 square miles and only produce 23% max ifthewindisblowing.
On a month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter basis the surveys are not good at telling us what the ONS will come up with - even if they do tell us which direction thewindisblowing.
Those objectives may only be possible if energy storage is eventually commercialized, or the ability to bottle and release thewind when it is not blowing.
