The Army's top legislative official has taken responsibility and resigned, said theArmy statement, which summarizes the results of an investigation by theArmyInspectorGeneral.
The studies -- one conducted by a senior panel of military officers and civilian experts and another by the Army's InspectorGeneral -- are complete, Meyer said.
TheArmyinspectorgeneral is expected Tuesday morning to deliver a report on the circumstances under which theArmy last week sent a paper of "talking points" to Capitol Hill defending the need to keep the Crusader program alive.
