Over three-years, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the UNESCO International Hydrological Programme (IHP), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and the World Bank are working closely with Member States to, though their best practices, jointly understand the complex nexus between science and governance in the management of groundwater resources.

It is an adaptation of the English module "Investing in Information for Development" produced by CTA, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), GTZ (an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the University of Wageningen.

Over ten UN organizations, including UNESCO-IOC, the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), are participating in the UN Pavilion to raise awareness of international efforts to promote the preservation of marine environment and sustainable development of oceans and coasts.
