The menus and icons are all drawn in Samsung's TouchWiz style, though there are some new additions, including lock screen app shortcuts.

We spent some time with it, and while we're impressed with the new lock screen, honeycomb app launcher, and browser, it's obviously just a paint job -- it's still kinda laggy and the media features haven't been changed at all.

With Siri, someone can inquire about what's playing in theaters nearby, navigate to that theater using Apple's Maps app and present the ticket stub from the lock screen, all invoking Apple's app working with its selected partners.

This is all made possible because Android allows third-party companies to alter the lock screen and other core features, such as the app launcher, which displays app icons and widgets.

To that end, it has more system controls than the existing Facebook app, with permission to turn off the lock screen, start up when the phone boots and control your WiFi connection, among others.

The app can run in the background, and your lock screen wallpaper even turns into the current navigation step, so you won't be tempted to touch your phone and unlock the screen.
