It is imperative that we educate our kids to understand the implications of this way of knowing, that we make the lens conscious while simultaneously equipping kids to use programminglogic intelligently and responsibly.
In computing, the driver that determines how the engine is used is the character and elegance of the algorithms, not only the programminglogic itself, but also the skill in creating that logic in the first place.
Simply put, the model is the data (and by extension the HTML content of a website or app), the view is what you see on the screen (defined by the CSS styles of the user interface) and the controller is the logic that ties the two together (often expressed as the JavaScript or other interactive programming).
If anything, the logic goes, too many independent owners will go after the "greatest common denominator" of programming to solicit the most advertising, whereas a single owner will purposely create diversity to avoid overlap and cannibalization.
