Just last week, the Chronicle of Higher Education ran a story that referenced a report from the NationalScienceBoard showing that in all but seven states, funding for major public research universities has been cut.
The American restrictions have since been eased, following a change of heart by the NationalScience Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB), which advises the government on research financed from the federal kitty.
