MPs will decide next week whether to approve a "timetable motion", which would set out the amount oftime for debate onthe House of Lords Reform Bill and the terms of its passage through Parliament.
Republicans have responded by saying the president's August timeline for passage is too risky, calling on lawmakers to take more time to research the impact ofthe bills.
