The resulting videos clock in at a healthy 20Mbps and benefit from the same pixeloversampling trickery (lossless zoom and image stabilization) as the PureView shots.
The sweet spot appears to be 8-megapixel PureView shots with little to no zoom -- this provides the ideal conditions for pixeloversampling to do its magic.
We'd be surprised if pixeloversampling doesn't make its way into point-and-shoots and eventually even mirrorless and reflex interchangeable lens cameras -- just imagine this technology being combined with a full-size sensor and ultra-fast prime lens.
