Last week, the BOE said it was sending out notices to 300, 000 businesses it had identified as possibly needing to register and file use tax returns by April 18th.
Both types of entities must register with the federal government, but a not-for-profit must file more extensive paperwork to earn its tax-exempt status.
They should also be able to view and manage their benefits as well as apply for jobs, register for courses, maintain performance goals, enter and approve absences, and file their expenses.
