The same year saw the publication of "Picasso 1881-1973, " a collection of essays co-edited with Roland Penrose that included his own seminal discussion of Picasso's complex relationship to the Surrealistmovement.
"In Wonderland: The Surrealist Adventures of Women Artists in Mexico and the United States" features about 175 works by 48 artists from the 1930s to the 1970s and examines women as both subject and creator within the Surrealistmovement.
