Entrepreneurship, the discovery and exploitation of new business opportunities, has become the buzzword of a knowledge-based global economy, and for a good reason.
And I'm confident that because of the resilience of our people and our businesses and our workers, our systems of higher education, that we are both countries that are incredibly well positioned to succeed in this knowledge-based economy of the 21st century.
Like it or not we live in a knowledge-based, global economy and we have to make sure our students have the knowledge and skills to compete, and compete successfully, globally.
