In its preliminary results for the year to the end of August, the group said it expected "meaningful benefits" to flow from ProjectPhoenix from the start of the second half of the current financial year.
It also reported that the first phase of its capital investment programme - known as ProjectPhoenix - remained on budget and on track for completion during the first half of this year.
That won't stop dedicated fans, however -- Phoenix International Communications plans to resurrect webOS ACL. Taking theproject to Kickstarter, the team is showing an early build on an HP Touchpad, seamlessly running Android apps in cards alongside native webOS applications.
