As a result, while the effortto bring down costs by doing away with testing that is unlikely toproduce much benefit is admirable and necessary, it is essential that physicians take the time to discuss with a patient the ins and outs and relative benefits and detriments that come with withholding medical tests.
Generally, the agency plans reflect a serious effort and allow us to conclude that agencies should be able toproduce useful and informative strategic plans by this Fall.
