Details of an immersive video games display system that projects images of the title's environment around a player's room have been revealed in a US patent belonging to Microsoft.

For easy operation while viewing movies or television, the system offers an advanced multi-language on-screen display that overlays onto HD and 3D video signals to depict system control and setup prompts.

They included Vuzix's Android-powered M100 smartphone display system featuring a small screen and video camera which is due for release before the end of 2013.
