AIM: To evaluate the clinical outcome after implantation of the new 1cu accommodating intraocular lens in cataract patients.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of accommodating intraocular lens (IOL) on the accommodation of patients with IOL implantation.

CONCLUSION: the cataract patients could restore certain pseudo-accommodation power after the implantation of accommodating intraocular lens (1cu).
