Reaction conditions for preparing isobornyl acetate from camphene using D72 resin as catalyst were studied. When D72 resin was in stirring state and in fixed bed conditions were compared.

The results show that terpene compounds in the volatile oils were identified. The higher chemical components in the volatile oil are camphene, pinene, phellandrene, zingiberene and borneol.
