Analysis on strip rust resistance and genetic property of wheat new germplasm——WT212 with strip rust resestance was carried out.

The results showed that these new wheat lines present high resistance to water stress. Giant spike wheat germplasm could be used as drought resistance gene resource in wheat breeding.
结果表明，利用巨穗小麦种质为基础培育的品系较当地生产上大面积种植的栽培品种有良好的抗旱特性，巨穗小麦种质有可能作为小麦抗旱节水育种的良好遗传资源。
