abstract:Angus Og was a comic strip which ran in the Daily Record and The Sunday Mail drawn by Ewen Bain, an Art Teacher who taught at both Allan Glen's and Kingsridge Senior Secondary Schools during his time working in education. It featured the eponymous Angus Og, and a whole host of other characters, including: his mother, Rosie the Highland cow, his best friend Lachie Mor, Mairileen (a woman who had a deep crush on Angus) and Granny McBrochan, the local 'spey-wife'.
