Dragon，中文译名“龙”，但是与中国“龙”（英文译为：loong）有本质的区别。Dragon是西方神话中一种强大的生物，第一眼看上去外形类似一只长着类似蝙蝠肉翼的蜥蜴。龙有很多种，生活环境从沙漠到森林，甚至海洋都有分布，习性和颜色也随种类的不同而不同，共通的特点是喜欢财宝，穴居，会喷火。中国“龙” 则是中国历史上的一个图腾形象。在中国古代传说中，龙是一种能兴云降雨的神异动物。在封建时代，龙则作为皇帝的象征。
