The main goal of this UNESCO initiative is to implement innovative, sustainable and accredited capacity development programmes in the field of curriculum.

UNESCO: MEDIA SERVICES

As a result of the devolution of a number of tasks relating to education the relevant authorities of Provincial Departments of Education are in need of technical assistance for capacity building in the areas of curriculum and textbook development.

UNESCO: EDUCATION

In Iraq, UNESCO is supporting the two Ministries of Education in planning, curriculum revision and material development, as well as mobilizing and building the capacity of civil society organizations who are delivering much of the literacy programming.
