详细释义通“慨” “概、慨——按现代汉语，前一个慨为感慨的慨，后一个概为大概、概括的概。若从表面上理解，两字难以通假。但若追根溯源，从本探讨，古书中两字可以通假。因它们原是音义同源而相生的字。本来慨是壮士不得志、忧慨激昂之义。概或作槩，是扢（古没切）用以平斗斛，一为形容词，一为名词。《汉书·季布传》：‘感概而自杀。’不用慨而用概。不知者以为是错字或者是误笔，其实二者是音同形近的字，义亦相通，是可以假借的。它们怎样相通呢？慨是壮士不得志，有愤恨不平之义。概为量米斗斛的器，可用以平之。不平和求平，相反适相成，矛盾统一，形成一个整体。加以音同形近，自然义亦相通，可以假借。”（引自黄现璠著《古书解读初探——黄现璠学术论文选》第467页，广西师范大学出版社于2004年7月出版）
