芳香烃，通常指分子中含有苯环结构的碳氢化合物。是闭链类的一种。具有苯环基本结构，历史上早期发现的这类化合物多有芳香味道，所以称这些烃类物质为芳香烃，后来发现的不具有芳香味道的烃类也都统一沿用这种叫法。例如苯、二甲苯、萘等。
