保兑行（Confirming Bank），是指出口国或第三地的某一银行应开证行的请求，在信用证上加注条款，表明该行与开证行一样，对受益人所提示的符合信用证规定的汇票、单据负有付款、承兑的责任。
通知行被要求增加保兑行。
保兑行意指应开证行的授权或请求对信用证加具保兑的银行。
Confirming bank means the bank that adds its confirmation to a credit upon the issuing bank's authorization or request.
当保兑行确定提示相符时，就必须予以兑付或议付并将单据寄往开证行。
