取样器是一种取样设备，用于锅炉房或电厂内汽水化验取样冷却，即用于温度较高的液体和气体等介质换热。锅炉及热力系统中的水大都温度较高，而高水温不便于取样测定化验，所以在取样中应加以冷却，即把取样点的样品引进取样冷却器进行冷却，取样时一般要求保证流量在500-700mL/min时，样品能冷取到30-40度以下，满足中华人民共和国电力行业DL/T457—91的标准。
