他中学就读于英国米若斯通中学（Morriston Comprehensive School），大学先是就读于英国斯旺西学院（Gower College Swansea）的BTEC表演艺术系，而后不到二十岁时，他回到了伦敦的英国中央演讲与戏剧学院学习戏剧表演。
