股票分割(stock split)是指将额外的股份按现有持股比例分配给各股东。当发生股票分割时，公司“购回”其发行在外的股份，再将原来的一股换成两股或更多。分割比例可以为2:1、3:1或更高，分割后的股票面值或设定价值将会降低。
