She slipped out of her warm bed, and onto the ice cold wooden floors. She paced back and forth, trying to think about how it wasn't her fault her mother died. It wasn't her fault that she couldn't take her mother's place. Because her father blamed her for her mother's death. Sure, she had been in the car with her mom, and didn't die, but it didn't matter. Nothing mattered. Because she was still unforgiven. So she cries. She cries for her mother, who died in a car crash. She cries for her father, who just can't understand. She cries for herself, who wishes she could take her mother's place.
