abstract:The Beechcraft Bonanza is an American general aviation aircraft introduced in 1947 by The Beech Aircraft Corporation of Wichita, Kansas. It is still being produced by Beechcraft, and has been in continuous production longer than any other airplane in history.
Back in 2010, avionics manufacturer Rockwell Collins successfully demonstrated a fully autonomous landing system in a stock single-engine BeechcraftBonanza.
In the seven or so years that I've been flying, I've put in more than 2, 000 hours at the stick of single-engine piston airplanes, including a BeechcraftBonanza, two Cessnas and, most recently, a sleek Cirrus SR22 that I've owned for 18 months.
