abstract:The branched-chain α-ketoacid dehydrogenase complex (BCKDC) is a multi-subunit complex of enzymes that is found on the mitochondrial inner membrane. This enzyme complex catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of branched, short chain alpha-ketoacids.
