Based on analysis of existing preparation methods, a low-cost method was adopted to prepare Ti(C,N) in this study. That is, Ti(C,N) was synthesized by Carbothermal Reduction-Nitridation(CRN) method from mixtures of nanosized anatase and carbon black.
