The acting mechanism of NSAIIDs is inhibiting cyclooxygenase(COX)activity to reduce prostaglandin(PGs)synthesis. Some NSAIIDs also inhibit lipoxygenase(LOX)activity to reduce leukotri- ences content and inhibit other substances such as oxygen free radicals,and cytokines production.
