There can be no guarantees that despotically governed Arab states--especially Saudi Arabia--would live up to their part of the bargain any more than they have in the past.
Instead, what we are wishing for appears destined to become another corruptly and despotically misruled, radicalized Arab state governed by an elite spoiling for revenge and territorial expansion and convinced that violence will help them achieve both.
