The principle of good enough is a critical one taught by Clayton Christensen as part of his disruptiveinnovation research: A technology needs to be just good enough to give people solutions to their problems, answers to their questions, fulfillment to their fundamental needs.
Disruptiveinnovation requires three things: a change in technology that simplifies a complicated technical problem, a business model that can take those simplified solutions to the market at low cost and a supporting cast of suppliers and distributors to reinforce the disruptor in the middle.
