abstract:Integrated catchment management is a subset of environmental planning which approaches sustainable resource management from a catchment perspective, in contrast to a piecemeal approach that artificially separates land management from water management.
An approach to integratedcatchmentmanagement by building a framework for water law and policy experts, water resource managers and water scientists to work together on water-related problems.
However, it also highlighted some great examples of UK scientists and practitioners rising to these challenges to deliver integratedcatchmentmanagement approaches both in this country and overseas.
