abstract:A Light Non-Aqueous Phase Liquid (LNAPL) is a groundwater contaminant that is not soluble and has a lower density than water, which is the opposite of DNAPL. Once LNAPL infiltrates through the soil, it will stop at the height of the water table since LNAPL is less dense than water.
