abstract:Mongrel Media is a Independent Canadian film distributor established in 1994. It is also the exclusive Canadian theatrical distributor for Sony Pictures Classics and is represented in Quebec by Métropole Films Distribution.
The film has the backing of Telefilm Canada and will be released in this country by Hussain Amarshi's MongrelMedia, which was the key backer of Mehta's controversial 2005 film, Water.
