abstract:Mughal gardens are a group of gardens built by the Mughals in the Islamic style of architecture. This style was heavily influenced by the Persian gardens particularly the Charbagh structure.
Successful measures have been taken to remove the threat to the brilliant palaces, mosques and gardens of Lahore, according to the World Heritage Committee which inscribed this outstanding testimony of Mughal civilization on the World Heritage List in 1981.
