Since 1896, the organization, formally known as the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, has been headquartered in a landmark building on 44th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Manhattan.
"The need is so vast, " said Lynn Kelly, executive director of the CityBar Justice Center, a nonprofit arm of the NewYorkCityBarAssociation that has worked on more than 400 Sandy-related cases.
