We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness.
Now, last night we had our third and last debate. (Applause.) And I hope that during the debate I made those differences very clear. (Applause.) Because the greatest responsibility I have as President is to keep the American people safe.
