Despite the Hollywood cachet and enviable amounts of space, Tudor City's studios are rarely sold and attract little attention in part because of the dowdy reputation of Tudor City and because some of the best duplex studios have been occupied by rent-regulated tenants since they were converted to co-ops in 1987.
